Guanín Collection is a tribute to the mix of cultures that make Boricuas. The guanin was a sacred Taino metal- a mix of gold, silver and copper. Its value was not only the metal’s shine and color, but in its conveyance of spiritual power, memory and identity.
This collection is for the island and for the island within. It’s for those who wake up in Boriken soil and those who carry that soil in their hearts thousands of miles away. It is shaped by life in PR and the diaspora. It gets what it is to leave, to return, to belong and be seen whether here or there. Whoever you are, wherever you are… you are home… tu eres PR.
